The Deliberate Dad is me, Steve Cardwell, a Northern Irish born coach who lives in Berkshire with his two young children Pearl and Lenny and florist wife, Jess.

When I had kids I realised the cliche about ‘not enough hours in the day’ was actually pretty true but I refused to accept the fact that ‘this is the way it has to be’.

I’m a serial entrepreneur who is seriously ambitious and really resented the fact that it seemed that you had to give up on some part of your life, especially being a great Dad to build a business that you loved and was financially successful.

So I have been working on myself, experimenting, trialling routines, systems, structures and ways of living so I can grow my business without sacrificing the things that are the most important to me: my family, my health and my relationships.

And across 1-1, group coaching and events I work with other Founder Dads to make that happen
